ABOUT PROJECT
As part of a project for a Skoda Auto Szkoła driving school whose mission is to improve road safety, we developed a modern web service for reserving advanced driving training courses in challenging conditions. The website was designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind, enabling users to easily and quickly register for courses that are key to shaping responsible and aware drivers.
CHALLENGE
How to unify booking, sales, back-office, and real-time scheduling seamlessly in one e-commerce solution?
A dynamic booking system manages multiple license categories and coordinates both theoretical and practical lessons while synchronizing instructor calendars and availability in real-time.
Distinct interfaces serve different user roles, featuring secure access to materials, comprehensive student progress tracking, and exam monitoring capabilities.
Robust calendar system ensures perfect synchronization and prevents double bookings while maintaining optimal performance and data consistency across all system components.
Comprehensive payment system handles course registration with support for installment plans, varied fee structures, and automated receipt generation while maintaining complete payment history.
Information architecture provides clear access to license categories, course materials, help resources, and pricing details through an intuitive navigation structure.
System performance is maintained through optimized database queries, efficient resource management during peak times, and strategic caching implementation to ensure consistent fast loading despite content-rich pages.
PROCESS
Discovery & Requirements Analysis
Initial engagement revealed client's need for modernizing driving school operations.
Through stakeholder interviews and workflow analysis, key requirements were established including scheduling, student portal, and payment processing functionalities for students, instructors, and administrators.
Planning & Architecture Design
Technical specifications were developed encompassing database architecture, payment integration, and booking workflows.
Comprehensive security measures were established to protect user data and ensure system integrity.
User Interface Design
Mobile-responsive interface was designed prioritizing accessibility and user experience
Core features included role-specific navigation and brand-aligned aesthetics, culminating in a testable prototype for stakeholder review.
Development Phase
